Climbing the mountain: Ohio State looms over rival, Browns trying to overtake theirs – The Nail in the Coffin, Episode 164
November 27, 2019What I’m thankful for on the Browns: Browns Film Room
November 28, 2019Here at WFNY we give thanks for our many blessings in life and on this site. The website recently published article No. 25,000, which is a credit to both the writers and WFNY community of readers who have supported the site for nearly 11 years now.
Please join us in the comments with what you have to give thanks during the beginning of this holiday season.
Bode: I have lived a blessed life and I am thankful for all who have contributed in all facets of it. The Lord has given me so much more than I have earned through any right in my life. I have a beautiful, loving, and caring wife who constantly is not only upholding our family but finding ways to challenge and improve upon it. Our children give us a purpose and despite the normal frustrations of parenthood, have given us countless examples of how they interact with the world around them that our choices with them are working. The entire WFNY community, both readers and writers, has created a fantastic representation of how the internet can be a positive place for interactions (special nod to Andrew, Craig, and Scott who let us write whatever and whenever we feel like writing). Love y’all and hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving this year.
Gerbs: I am thankful for so much this year: A loving wife who sees through all my flaws and puts up with me regardless, a beautiful one-year-and-one-day-old baby girl in Melody who tests and trials me and my trollness constantly, a Browns team that is on the up and up, an Indians team that still has Jose Ramirez, Francisco Lindor, Carlos Santana and others on it,1 and a youthful Cavs team that is growing in front of us into a group of players that are super fun to watch. It’s a great time in Cleveland sports and I am so happy to be here with all of you in this community going through it.
Gilbert: I am thankful for a lot of things. Let’s start with the sports arena. I am thankful for the Browns actually being in the playoff race. I am thankful for the Cavs being a fun, young team to watch develop and play together. I am thankful for the Indians making a big trade this past season to straddle the line of improving the now and the future. I am thankful for Ohio State being on the top of the college football landscape, playing dominant football so far this season. But, let’s get to things I am profoundly grateful for in my life. I am thankful for a great, loving family, who is always there for me throughout my life. I am thankful for a good job with friends who are fun and great to be around. I am thankful for where I am in my life.
Poloha: One short paragraph isn’t enough to say what I am thankful, but I think a lot of us would agree with that. First and foremost, I’m thankful for my family and friends. They do so much for me. Also, I will always be thankful for my health, sports, the fact that Cleveland’s teams are either good or at least fun to watch, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. I’m so blessed with this life I have been given and while I wish some things were different, I have so much that I am thankful for. Last but certainly not least, I’m thankful for WFNY. I consider these guys my brothers and the day-to-day communication is something I always look forward to. What happens on WFNY Slack stays on WFNY Slack, but it’s a fun place to be. Thank you for continuing to read, comment, and support us, y’all. It means the world. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
