Let’s be honest, it seems like it’s been far more than just 13 days since the Ohio State Buckeyes last took the field. Somehow, that is actually the case. Luckily for Buckeye Nation, the scarlet and gray are back this weekend when they host the Maryland Terrapins in Columbus Saturday afternoon.
To get you ready, amped up, and prepared for the matinee game, the Ohio State video and graphics team is once again here to let you know that the Buckeyes are here and ready. If they aren’t well, they need to just watch the video.

“They wanna fight man, we’re gonna say who’s about it,” an Ohio State player says. “We know who tough. This is when a brotherhood takes over. They think they’re tough. They ain’t been through what we’ve been through. It’s a brotherhood here.
“We are who we think we are. When times get hard, lean on your brother. When we make a big play, lean on your brother. We the Buckeyes.”
“You’re only good with what you have,” head coach Ryan Day tells his team. “You have a group in front of you that’s trying to take away what you have.”
“We’re going to win this game because of our toughness and more importantly because of the love that’s in this room,” assistant athletic director for football sports performance Mickey Marotti says. “That’s what’s going to win this game.”
Still not ready for Buckeye football to be back? Well, I don’t know what to tell you. The video is filled with some of the biggest plays of the year. Whether it’s a hard hit, good block, solid defense, a touchdown, a stiff arm, or anything in between, the Buckeyes have made a bunch of highlight-reel plays so far this season and the trailer features some of them.
Great Succes. Requires. Greater Sacrifice.
Although this has nothing to do with the gameday video trailer, I would suggest that you listen to this one-minute speech from Day to his players. We can all learn something from this. That’s all.
