April 27, 20192019 NFL Draft: Browns select K Austin Seibert at pick No. 170
April 27, 2019The Cleveland Browns are loading up on defense. With the 155th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Browns selected linebacker Mack Wilson of Alabama. The Browns biggest need coming into the draft was a linebacker and the Browns have now selected two linebackers in the draft.
Wilson is a steal for the Browns and a great value at No. 155. He was my No. 46 overall prospect on my board and the No. 2 rated linebacker. Wilson played three seasons at Alabama. Wilson is a good athlete with the size NFL teams look for in a linebacker. He is an all-around linebacker with the ability and experience to cover in the pass defense.
Wilson is a player who will fit well in the modern game. He is a linebacker who plays well in coverage, allowing him to play all three downs. I believe this is a great pick at a position of need for the Browns. Here are some highlights of Wilson:
