A true Texan Round-up: WFNY Roundtable
November 30, 2018Is Myles Garrett Underperforming for the Browns?
December 1, 2018Coming off their biggest win of the season in The Game over Michigan, the Ohio State Buckeyes not only clinched a spot in the Big Ten Championship game by winning the East division but also (somehow) got one step closer to a possible spot in the Playoff.
Now, the scarlet and gray are set to take on Northwestern in the Big Ten title game in Indianapolis. While this week’s game may be much tougher to get amped and prepared for compared to last week’s game, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t get amped for it. To help you get ready for Saturday night, Ohio State’s video and graphics team has released yet another outstanding video trailer.
In a video that begins with the Buckeyes’
“We’re going to make a statement today, men. You guys have the pen. What do you want it to look like? This is an opportunity to make a statement to the world on who the Buckeyes are.”
“First of all, we are extremely blessed to be here. I have one thing to say, y’all. We have been preparing for this since January,” a voice says. “I swear I’m going to give everything I’ve got for y’all. Give me the same. Play with confidence, play with energy, and love each other, man. I’m going to give it all for y’all.”
“Everybody’s got more in them,” head coach Urban Meyer tells his team. “Every coach and player here has more in them. What have you done today to win a championship?”
Surprisingly, the video features many more highlights of Ohio State getting ready for Saturday’s game than it does of this past weekend’s win over the Wolverines. It also features a number of highlights from earlier in the season as well.
It concludes with Meyer holding up the Big Ten Championship trophy in Indy, something that all of Buckeye Nation hopes will happen again Saturday night.
It’s clear that the Buckeyes will be ready for the Big Ten title game. Will you? If this video trailer didn’t help get you energized at least a little, well then, I don’t know how to help you at all. It made me want to put on a jersey and run through a wall for the program.
The Buckeyes and Wildcats will kick off at 8 p.m. ET Saturday night.
