Bye weeks suck. What makes them worse is when your favorite team loses — let alone gets embarrassed — in their final game leading up to the bye week. While it seems like the game at Purdue was much longer than just 12 days ago, the Ohio State Buckeyes are back after getting through their only open week of the regular season.
Now, the Buckeyes are set to host the Nebraska Cornhuskers back in Ohio Stadium. Buckeye Nation needed the Buckeyes as much as the scarlet and gray need to return to the field to prove that their game at Purdue was just a fluke.
In case you forgot about the Buckeyes or are still feeling down about their lone loss of the season to date, Ohio State’s video and graphics team has you covered with yet another outstanding trailer to get us ready for the game against Nebraska Saturday afternoon. This time, they seem to want to take us back in time. While the highlights are from this season, everything else seems
Since Ohio State will not have a night game at home this season for the first time in a decade, they will be forced to wear their alternate uniforms in an afternoon game rather than in primetime. Their all-black jerseys are outstanding and the Buckeyes want all 100,000-plus fans in Ohio Stadium to be decked out in all black as well. While it would look much cooler under the lights, a blackout with those black jerseys could be a very solid look, even if it was in the afternoon. It’s what Ohio State was forced to do.
While it’s filled with plenty of highlights, the hype trailer takes us back in time, showing the highlights on a small, old-school television with the stadium in the background. Whether it’s the music or what’s being shown in the video, it’s made to get Buckeye Nation amped up for Saturday’s matinee, even if it is against a Nebraska team that has just two wins so far this season, both of which have come in their last two games.
