Los Angeles looks to take charge out of Browns: WFNY Roundtable
October 12, 2018It was what it was: Getting the Indians postmortem out of the way – The Nail in the Coffin, Episode 132
October 12, 2018You guys, it’s finally football weather (and the best time of the year).
Much like last week, this Saturday’s game against Minnesota may be somewhat tough one for Buckeye Nation to get hyped and ready for. Ohio State is currently a 29.5-point favorite in a game that isn’t supposed to be close. Then again, the scarlet and gray have two things going for them: They’re playing in Columbus and it’s another opportunity to remain undefeated, no matter who the opponent is.
With students on fall break, it seems as though Ohio State fans may just need a little extra motivation, even if the weather outside gets you ready to either play or watch football all weekend, especially every Saturday in the fall. Like they have been all season, the Buckeyes are here to help you get hyped for Saturday afternoon’s game with a video trailer. The highlight-filled video is not only fun to watch, but may just make you run through a wall as well.
“You’ve been training for this. For your families. For your unit,” head coach Urban Meyer tells his players. “When I needed you the most, you played your best. When I needed you the most, you did your very best.”
The rest of the video goes on to show a number of highlights from the first five weeks of the season. It concludes with someone saying “Us Against The World”, a saying that, although it is overstated by many, seems to be something the Buckeyes love to use, whether it be for motivation or not.
Besides watching the Buckeyes dominate, another thing to keep an eye on is Minnesota’s right tackle. True freshman Daniel Faalele will make his first career start. But that’s not what’s fascinating. He may only be a true freshman, but considering Faalele is 6-foot-9, 400 pounds, the kid may stick out quite a bit. He will have his hands full against Ohio State’s dominant defensive line, but given his size, he may just have what it takes.
Saturday afternoon’s game will be a Pink Out, in connection with the Spielman Family and to support breast cancer. Kickoff between the Buckeyes and Gophers is set for 12 p.m. ET.
