From time to time, we will dust off past episodes of The Nail in the Coffin from the days before the show was part of WFNY. With WWE Raw coming to The Q on Monday, we go back to an interview with Kurt Angle, conducted in April, shortly after the Olympic gold medalist-turned-WWE Hall of Famer made his return to the company.
In this special episode of The Nail, Angle details his long road back to WWE after a decade of addictions to pain medication and alcohol threatened his life and livelihood. Angle also discusses whether he would be satisfied with his career if he never wrestles another match for the company, how WWE’s women’s division has taken off in recent years, and his work behind the scenes sharing advice with a new generation of superstars.
