Meeting Marcus Mariota’s Marauding Men: Browns-Titans Preview
October 20, 2017Report: Mets Closing in on hiring Mickey Callaway as Manager
October 22, 2017DeShone Kizer is back in the starting lineup for the Cleveland Browns, but it’s the other side of the ball that has taken the hit as the team will be without two of its four starting defensive backs in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans.
Both cornerback Jason McCourty (ankle) and safety Jabrill Peppers (toe) will be in street clothes as the Browns host Marcus Mariota and company despite head coach Hue Jackson appearing positive that both players would play on Friday. Ibraheim Campbell will start in Peppers’ spot with Briean Boddy-Calhoun will slot into the starting lineup for McCourty who, to this point in the season, was the top performing cornerback per Pro Football Focus.

Joining McCourty and Peppers include quarterback Kevin Hogan (“ribs”), linebacker Jambes Burgess, offensive linemen Marcus Martin and Zach Manner, and defensive lineman T.Y. McGill. Kenny Britt, who was sent home prior to the team’s Week 6 game against Houston for breaking curfew the night before, is active.

Another pair of inspired QB swaps by Hue Jackson. I am officially off the Patience Bandwagon and am waiting at the bus stop for the Fire Hue Bandwagon. Anyone have a bus table?
