Buckeyes release trailer for primetime matchup at Nebraska

Ohio State head football coach has made it known over the past few weeks that he believes the Big Ten should put  cap on the amount of night games each team in the conference can have. Given Ohio State’s tradition and success since Meyer came to Columbus, the Buckeyes have had plenty of night games, the head coach has even advocated for them and Ohio Stadium now has permanent light fixtures instead of portables ones. But, now other Big Ten teams are making their games in primetime when Ohio State rolls into town, too.

With that said, the scarlet and gray travel to Nebraska this weekend for a primetime matchup against the Cornhuskers. While they have somewhat struggled this season, Nebraska is a mediocre team in the Big Ten, one that Ohio State must take care of business against.

To get you and the team ready (and hyped) for the game, the Buckeyes video and graphic team have released yet another awesome hype trailer.

It starts off by showing the Buckeyes coming down the tunnel against what seems to look like Rutgers two weeks ago. Then, for the first time, Buckeye Nation gets an inside look at defensive coordinator Greg Schiano getting his team amped up.

“How incredibly blessed is every one of us to be where we are right this second, at the Ohio State University. It’s bigger than them, it’s bigger than us,” Schiano yells to his team as the video provides us with a look at the Buckeyes entering the field at the Shoe.

“Now what are you going to do with it. The best we’ve ever done. Not for me, not for you, but do it for your brother. You’ve been blessed, what are you going to do with it,” Schiano says as the video basically shows his veins popping out of his head as he gets his team amped up.

It then goes on to show plenty of highlights of last weekend’s win over Maryland while showing the words “Respect Our Name.”

The Buckeyes and Cornhuskers are set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday in Nebraska.
