Fiesta Bowl Tickets Already Cheaper than Last Season’s Game

Is excitement waning for the upcoming Fiesta Bowl? According to the secondary ticket market, the answer is yes–and fast.

This year’s Fiesta Bowl will be a College Football Playoff Semifinal game between No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Ohio State. The implications surrounding the game, however, aren’t driving big resale ticket prices. In fact, prices are actually dropping in the days prior to kickoff. It is now cheaper on average than last year’s game between Notre Dame and Ohio State.

On TicketIQ, an event ticket search engine that collects tickets and data from over 90 percent of the resale market, Fiesta Bowl tickets, which will take place at University of Phoenix Stadium on New Year’s Eve, are now averaging $207. That is now below the $239 average last year’s game posted, which was also held at University of Phoenix Stadium. For fans looking to just get past the gates, the cheapest Fiesta Bowl tickets are now listed from just $56 each.
