The Illustrated Man knew the 2016 Cleveland Indians’ fate
November 4, 2016NEO High School Football: 2016 Ohio HS Playoff Predictions
November 4, 2016In what is arguably their biggest home game of the season outside of The Game, the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes are set to host the No. 10 Nebraska Cornhuskers in a primetime matchup that not only features two of the Big Ten’s top teams, but two of the best teams in the country who are both 7-1 on the season.
Their latest trailer features sound bites from co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell, defensive line coach Larry Johnson, and middle linebacker Raekwon McMillan. The highlights include hard-hitting, helmet-colliding, touchdown-making, gut-wrenching, highlight-making plays from a handful of Ohio State players, whether it be on offense, defense, or special teams.
The Buckeyes have struggled the past two weeks, but with a primetime game at The Shoe, Saturday night would be a perfect time to turn things around. Head coach Urban Meyer will have the team ready, but will they be able to snap out of their funk?
The winner of this matchup will continue to be in the College Football Playoff hunt, while the loser will most likely sit on the outside of the talk. Along with Playoff implications, Saturday night’s game between the Buckeyes and Cornhuskers will go a long way in determining who gets to the Big Ten Championship game at regular season’s end as well.
If you weren’t already ready for the big-time game at Ohio Stadium, you will be after watching this trailer. It may even make you want to run through a wall or even suit up for the Buckeyes this weekend. Ohio State will honor the 1916 Buckeyes and wear throwback uniforms this weekend.
Kickoff is is set for 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
