Jürgen Klinsmann Out, Bruce Arena In (Again)
November 23, 2016The Power of Love: Cavaliers vs Blazers Behind the Box Score
November 23, 2016Hamilton: The Musical remains as one of the hottest tickets on the planet. LeBron James remains as the best basketball player on the planet. It was only a matter of time, then, that the two would be combined into the four-minute track above titled LeBron: The Musical.
Straight from the online media company Dose, we have a James-based song sung to the tune of the opening track from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s masterpiece, “Alexander Hamilton.” It includes a host of stand-ins purported to be Steph Curry, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Kyrie Irving. We even get a fake Jim Grey.
The entire pardoy-style production is very well done, including James in his now-infamous all-white Draft Day suit; the shirt, set and television screen from The Decision, and the all-black shot from his homecoming essay on Sports Illustrated. Bonus points for the clip of Curry throwing his mouthguard.
James addressed the video at Wednesday’s shootaround, saying it was “unbelievable.”
“It’s great—it’s unbelievable, actually,” James said. “Obviously they’ve done their homework and they were pretty much spot on. And the visuals were pretty cool too. You know, all the different characters and different uniforms and different jerseys and things of that nature. I’ve done something right up until this point with my career to see someone be able to take the time out of their days to do something like that. It’s pretty cool.”
Enjoy.
