Buckeyes release trailer for primetime matchup in Happy Valley

Following their incredible, gut-wrenching comeback victory over the Wisconsin Badgers in overtime in Camp Randall last Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the Penn State Nittany Lions in Happy Valley in yet another primetime game Saturday night; their second night game in as many weeks.

In a video filled with plenty of highlights from the first six games of the season that include touchdowns, bone-crushing hits, trash talk, highlight reel-type plays, and the undefeated scarlet and gray squad, the trailer will not only give you goosebumps, but it might even make you a little chilly.

Assistant coach and co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell is heard getting the team ready by saying “you’ve got a job to do men … go do it.” Also, strength and conditioning coach Mickey Marotti is heard pumping up his team – like he always does – by yelling, “the team that plays the hardest, fastest, the longest, will win the game.”

There has yet to be a week where the Ohio State video and graphic hasn’t killed it. On the football field, the team is 6-0, but everyone behind the scenes is having one heck of a season too.

In front of a white-out crowd, head coach Urban Meyer will make sure his team isn’t intimidated. So far, the Buckeyes have had no problem ruining a home night game for their opponents, they will look to continue that trend in State College Saturday night.

If you for some reason aren’t ready for Saturday night, you will be after watching this outstanding trailer. Kickoff in Happy Valley is set for 8 p.m. ET.

I know I’ve said this following every week that I’ve watched the trailer released by the Ohio State football team, but the amazing highlights and sounds I’m sure make all of Buckeye Nation amped up a little. Is it Saturday night yet?
