Ohio State releases trailer for season opener against BGSU

In case you weren’t ready for the college football season—specifically the Ohio State Buckeyes season—the school’s video and graphic team is here to help.

As seen in the video, the trailer features plenty of players from last season who are no longer donning the scarlet and gray due to the fact that they either graduated or are now in the NFL. Thems the breaks when a team loses 16 of 22 starters, has 44 freshman (true and redshirt), and a bunch of new faces on the roster. While it was hard to find in-game clips of many of the starters this season solely due to the fact that they just may not have played that much in previous years, one thing that won’t be hard to find is the talent that head coach Urban Meyer will put on the field.

Week 1 should feature plenty of good, hard-hitting, touchdown-making clips the school can add into their Week 2 trailer. The No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes host Bowling Green Falcons Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network. As Assistant Athletic Director for Football Sports Performance Mickey Marotti states in the video, “it is time.”
