April 12, 2016The Cleveland Indians are perpetually looked upon favorably in pre-season projections. Unfortunately, in years past, they have unable to translate those projections into postseason runs.
Entering the 2016 season, Cleveland was projected to be one of the top teams in the American League. Led by Jason Kipnis, Yan Gomes, Michael Brantley, and Francisco Lindor, Cleveland boasts an impressive array of young hitters. While Cleveland boasts an array of young, talented hitters, their strength lies in their starting rotation. The top of the starting unit is anchored by Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco while the back-end is secured by Danny Salazar, Cody Anderson, and Josh Tomlin. Cleveland may be a player or two away from making some noise in the American League, but for now, the team is well-positioned to be in the playoff picture.
The Indians will spend the majority of April on the road, but Cleveland has six remaining home games this month. The NL Champion New York Mets and AL West powerhouse Seattle Mariners will head to Progressive Field for three-game series, each of which is currently going for above-average secondary market prices.

Here’s hoping we can keep the Mets’ early struggles going!
No Syndergaard, no Felix (as of schedule now). Indians fortunate on that schedule, but gotta say I’m disappointed to not get to see them match up against us.
