December 14, 2015The Browns won their third game of the season on Sunday, beating the San Francisco 49ers 24-10. But, not all the news from game was positive for Cleveland. Following the game, the team announced that receiver Brian Hartline had broken his collarbone and would miss the rest of the season with the injury. It is yet another serious injury to the Browns, who have already suffered a lot of big injuries to likes of Joe Haden and Josh McCown.
Brian Hartline caught 38 passes for 416 yards and two touchdowns in his 13 games for the Browns this season. After a slow start to his Browns career, Hartline had come on lately for the offense. Before leaving with the broken collarbone in Sunday’s victory over the 49ers, Hartline caught eight passes for 107 yards. That was his first 100-yard receiving game of the season (and now his last). He was really becoming a safety net for the quarterback because of his sure-handed catching ability. It will be a tough loss to fill for the Browns receiving corps who has already missed the likes of Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel over the past few games.
Johnny Manziel and the Browns offense will need some of the same from its running game that the team had in Sunday’s victory over the 49ers to make up for all these losses in the passing game.
Injury news: Brian Hartline will miss the rest of the season with a broken collar bone.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s crazy that Reggie Wayne isn’t on a roster? Has he lost that much?
