August 17, 2015It’s Monday morning and there’s plenty to talk about from the weekend. It wasn’t a big sports weekend, mind you, but that doesn’t meant there’s nothing to talk about. Craig is solo today talking about fantasy, Justin Gilbert, the Browns and a whole lot more.

Congrats on the win Craig!
It is a funny counter-part to the participation discussion (which I was going to comment on that pod, but it’s not up yet, apparently I listened in the wrong order). I try to avoid claiming the medal after a Half, because it means nothing to me. I do not even know where the ones are that were forced upon me.
A couple years ago I ran, what turned out to be, a 200 person 5k, while the 15k chocolate run was going on the same weekend (I did not know either of these when I signed up). I ran in the front 3 for the first half of the race, we missed the poorly marked turn around point, and I ended up 9th. Make no mistake, I would not have one, but I was super pumped.
I “won” a pint glass (top 50 for men and top 50 for women). I saw a kid asking his dad why he didn’t get a glass and for a split second thought about giving it to him. Then I realized, f-that, this is my glass and he won’t even use it proper for another 10+ years. Still my favorite glass.
I used to really like Chad Millman’s gambling podcast, but I quit listening to it because the Draft Kings promo interrupts 5x louder than the rest of the pod. (plus, they kiss each others butts too much now, and don’t discuss the behind the scenes of betting lines as much).
I did notice the intro blended better, nice work. I had trained myself to put the ear buds in 2-3 sec after hitting play.
