Kendrick Perkins reportedly involved in domestic dispute

May 14, 2015To celebrate the impact that Matthew Dellavedova has had in the playoffs thus far, we felt it was appropriate to take a look down memory lane and revisit the second-year guard’s season. And there was only one way to do so appropriately: Through six-second videos known as Vines. Let’s go in chronological order for the full progression of Delly.
Here was a pretty solid quarter buzzer-beater in an Oct. 5 preseason game against David Blatt’s old Maccabi Tel Aviv squad.
Arguably the most viral Vine involving Dellavedova was this accidental LeBron James pick in an Oct. 11 preseason game against Boston.
Oh, and Delly has a habit of trying to guard players nearly a foot taller than him. Here is one example, against Dirk Nowitzki in an Oct. 18 preseason game.
As the season progressed, Dellavedova-to-Tristan Thompson pick-and-roll alley-oops became a thing? This is one example, also from the preseason, on Oct. 23.
Here’s Atlanta Hawks All-Star Jeff Teague crossing up Delly like a fool on New Year’s Eve. This also will become a thing.
In another moment of sadness, all of his teammates forgot about his presence at the foul line on Jan. 17. So sad.
And just in case you thought Delly’s alley-oop wonders were set aside only for Tristan Thompson, no, here was one for Shawn Marion in a blowout win over Charlotte on Jan. 24.
Another personal favorite: When Dellavedova accidentally punched Mike Miller in the groin at the conclusion of the dramatic Jan. 29 Portland win (and Kyrie’s 55-pointer).
Here’s Clippers playoff darling Austin Rivers crossing up Delly like a fool on Feb. 6. This happens.
Here’s Golden State’s Andre Iguodala crossing up Delly like a fool on Feb. 26. This is brutal.
And a special Dellavedova-to-Mozgov alley-oop on March 8 against Phoenix! He shares the wealth with everyone!
Charles Barkley has difficulties pronouncing Dellavedova, Part 1.
The best Dellavedova-to-Tristan Thompson alley-oop of the season was fittingly against Miami on April 13.
The signature Dellavedova-to-Tristan alley-oop carried over from the preseason to the regular season to the playoffs! It even worked in game 3 against Chicago last Friday!
Charles Barkley has difficulties pronouncing Dellavedova, Part 2.
And finally, the infamous tussle with Taj Gibson from Tuesday night, with special audio from the legendary Jim Ross.

Not only did he catch Mike Miller in the groin… he also landed on his foot!
I loved 99% of this, but Taj Gibson = The Undertaker? C’mon man…
Ah, the city’s new idiot little brother … funny thing is, he’s bigger and stronger than 99% of local sports readership and could undoubtedly kick the arse of 100% of us. Alas, in this warm and cuddly but dangerous family he’s just destined to be Fredo.
(J.R. is Sonny, no doubt. Kyrie is Michael, and all pay respect to you-know-who, the all-powerful with the cotton cheeks and ring. Blatt is Tom, the ever-loyal brains but quietfully resentful of his eternal outsider status. I believe Mike Miller is Clemenza but you guys can fill in the rest).
The Dirk one is my fav.
Thanks for putting this together. He’s really shown his value during the playoffs, and I sort of love that he isn’t the best at… well, dribbling? Is that fair? Anyhow I love his game, his energy seems contagious, he’s a pro’s pro by all reports, and his quiet assists have provided many a break from 4th quarter iso ball and the suspicious lack of mozgov late. His contribution has been understated by most.
Delly is the best
Delladova does that weak dive at the space near the guys knees bit to frightne them while shooting. Love him but that move is weak. All players who do that deserve a kick int he face
I liked the oop to TT during the Chicago game 3 the best. They were in a timeout before that play and Delly went to TT and put one finger in the air, without saying a word. Thompson mimicked the finger in the air gesture and nodded his head.
When they came out of the break I told everyone that the alley-oop was coming.
