Dave talks to comedian Chris Clem about all things Cavs – WFNY Podcast – 2015-03-19
March 19, 2015What does it mean to “Play like a Brown?”
March 19, 2015Live college basketball starting at noon and running for the entire day for four straight days. This four day period is like Christmas Day for me in late March. When you have your brackets all set and you think to yourself that these picks are correct (and most of the time they end up being wrong). This is the time of the year when you have to figure out what channel truTV is on your channel listings. The 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament starts tomorrow with wall-to-wall coverage and I cannot wait!
The tournament draws millions of basketball fans and casual sports fans alike to fill out a bracket and watch the many exciting games. The bracket contests give each person rooting interest in almost every game of the first four days of college basketball action. You become a Duke fan, a Gonzaga fan, or a Michigan State fan for a couple days. It’s the time when big moments happen, like when a David beats a Goliath or a team mounts a big comeback and hits a last second shot to advance to the next round. It has it all and it doesn’t require you to follow the teams all the way through the regular season. You can pick up a favorite team by just watching a couple seconds and seeing how they played. It’s a tourney for the all the masses!
The 2015 tournament has a different feeling to it from previous seasons because of the heavy favorite Kentucky Wildcats. I think it might make the tourney even better. If you are not a fan of the Wildcats, then you are most likely going to root for the team they are facing. Every opponent will gain millions of new fans just for the fact they are facing Kentucky. A heavy favorite may not work for a long period of time, but for one season, I think it really enhances the play.
So whomever you root for, an alma mater or your bracket champions, have fun with the full schedule of college basketball. It only lasts for a couple days, but in these days it gives us a lot of exciting moments. Make sure you have your bracket filled out and submitted. Also figure out how you will watch the action. If you are working, head over to cbssports.com to find the live streams of all the games or download the 2015 March Madness Live app for your mobile devices. If you are in front of a television, make sure you figure out your provider’s channel numbers for truTV, TBS, TNT, and CBS. So make plans for the next four days and enjoy the action of the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament! Christmas in March is here!

Awesome Joe. I felt like the Rocky theme song was playing in the background the entire read. I’m ready for the day’s games to begin now.
