Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts: Behind the Box Score
December 9, 2014It’s Johnny Time: Manziel to start Week 15
December 9, 2014The Holiday Season is upon us, and for many, the holidays are a time of rituals and traditions. Here at Waiting For Next Year, we believe in tradition as well, and one of our personal favorites is the annual WFNY 12 Days of Christmas contest series! This is now the seventh year in a row we have done this contest, as hard as that is to believe.
How does it work? It’s simple. Every week day from now through Christmas, we will have a different contest with a different prize package to give away to you guys. It’s our small way of showing our appreciation and saying thanks for hanging in there with us for another year. Each day will feature a different, unique contest. Some will require getting a correct answer, some will be selected randomly among all entries, and some will feature haiku writing, of course. So check back every day for your chance to win one of our prize packs!
Previous Day’s Winner
So, umm, yeah….the contest was fun and I enjoyed seeing everyone’s predictions. There was just one problem. Nobody was able to foresee Dion Waiters being the team’s leading scorer. So we had to improvise and go to the tie breaker method of using the randomizer on all of the entires. Congrats to gmoko who won the first contest of the season!
Today’s Prize Pack
On Day Two we continue with a similar theme from yesterday. We have a couple more items from two of WFNY’s friends and partners in Two Bucks and GV Art and Design. We have a $10 gift card to Two Bucks and a Large “United We Stand” T-Shirt from GV Art and Design. Win this prize and you can show your solidarity with Orange and Brown Nation while enjoying some delicious food from Two Bucks!
Today’s Contest
Ok, so, lets try this again. The Cavaliers play again Tuesday night, so I want to try to get a correct answer for this contest question. We can’t get shut out on back to back nights, can we1?. So here’s the question: Who will be the Cavaliers’ leading scorer against Toronto, and how many points will they score? The person who guess the correct person with the closest points total wins2!
To enter, simply leave a comment in the Comments section below3 with the answer to today’s question before tip-off. I’m going to stick with my ineligible-to-win entry of LeBron James with 31 points. See? It’s that easy. So what are you waiting for? Go get your best guesses in below, and good luck!
The Fine Print (in normal sized font) and Rules
Only one entry per person per day is allowed. This is very important. Anyone who submits more than one entry is immediately disqualified. Only one winner per household per year is allowed. Winners will be notified via email. Prizes will not necessarily be delivered by Christmas, but we will try our best to make it happen.

I’m sure most won’t believe me, but I almost said Dion yesterday purely as a joke. But since I’m not a Buckeye fan, I just decided to abstain. Win-win for me and gmoko.
But since I am a Browns fan, I’ll say Kyrie with 28.
LBJ with 28. I also think he will lead the team in assists with 11.
