Loved this.
I really think wall-to-wall podcasts with bright sports types speaking conversationally to one another will supplant sports radio. I’m in lockstep with Brian regarding Kiley/Booms and the only reason people listen to them is because they’re on the radio. If anything else remotely local sports related were available in the car as easily, you’d listen to that. And it, I think, almost has to be random bright sports types or, if a ‘celebrity’ still a conversational sports types.
I tried listening to a Grossi on the Rizzo/Cherry show podcast and Rizzo is just interrupting and talking over the two smart football guys.. I mean like right while they were making interesting points. Adam the Bull does the same. Something about being a sportsradio host must hardwire one to fill the air whenever the other person inhales.
btw, the provinicial ‘made locally’ bits are not unique to Cleveland. The standard operation here in Boston is to find the worst Boston accent possible and make that person your spokesman to assure everyone that you’re Boston-bred. (Even freaking McDonald’s incorporates a local knowledge quiz into their spots.) The corollary to that message is a whole ‘we don’t like out-of-towners’ thing (which is kinda pervasive here) so as an out-of-towner (only lived here 30 years) I tend avoid companies that hammer that angle too much.
But I digress. Good job gents. Relegation is must in all non-salary-capped leagues. Oh and Dimoko –> even I’ve met Craig and I live in New Hampshire.
”’I just got paid $7500 working off my computer this month. And if you think that’s cool, my friend has twin toddlers and made over $8k her first month. It feels so good making so much money when other people have to work for so much less. This is what I do…..

This pod started very strong. I liked the way your dynamics worked together. Slowed down a bit in the 3rd Qtr, but Brian called a time-out and the necessary adjustments were made. Overall I found it enjoyable.
Brian mentioned going to two games this year and both were big losses. I went to two games last year and they lost the two by a combined 52 pts. Pretty sure that is a record.
