Ahtyba Rubin is finally back after missing a couple weeks and flirting with surgery for his ankle. That’s the good news. Also, the Browns have decided once again to have all three of their main running backs active for this week’s contest.
As for the Browns’ inactives…
We’ll see how much Rubin can actually play, but it’s still a long way to go until I would consider the Browns’ defensive line even remotely healthy. Phil Taylor and Billy Winn remain out, and while Armonty Bryant isn’t considered a D-lineman in this defense, I’ll just count his injury as well.
We’ll also see how much each of the running backs get. After a week of chatter about playing time and rhythm from the players and their coordinator Kyle Shanahan, I’ll be interested to see how the reps are spread after Ben Tate.
