Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel sat down to talk with ESPN’s Jon Gruden to discuss Monday’s preseason game against the Redskins and former Kyle Shanahan QB Robert Griffin III. Take a look.
All I can think of when watching this is that whenever Gruden leans into him, I kind of wish the camera had one of those punching things to go WHAM! in his face.
Also, whenever Johnny talks, without the perception of and aura around him, he’s so… bland.
The most interesting part was the end – being able to translate one play into another really quickly. Once you know the terminology, it’s just translating what you’re hearing/seeing.
