Could you guys maybe get back to writing articles instead of doing these?
We get a lot of good feedback on the podcast and we hope it is viewed as an additional thing we do as opposed to an “instead of.”
I’m sure you do get a lot of good feedback on the podcasts, but judging by number of comments and content of comments on posts in which you advertise them (such as this one), they don’t get nearly the activity that written articles do. If I’m on the site, I can immediately read an article and then comment on it, but there’s extra work involved in listening to a podcast (not that it’s onerous work, but certainly inconvenient if in a work situation or other situation in which I can read something but not listen to something). I can see podcasts as an additional thing rather than an “instead of,” but they are certainly being done (by the moderators’ own admission) instead of the “The Browns will win if…” articles. And those generated a whole lot more response in comments than these podcasts do.
