July 20, 2012The Cleveland Cavaliers will sign stretch forward Jon Leuer, according to Zach Lowe of Sports Illustrated.
Cavs will sign Jon Leuer, waived this week by Houston.

Leuer was waived by the Rockets just two days ago and the Cavs were reportedly one of several teams to show interest, edging out the Minnesota Timberwolves with their waiver claim.
The Rockets acquired his rights after a trade with the Bucks this offseason. As a rookie playing for Milwaukee, Leuer averaged 4.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12 minutes. Many Big Ten fans are familiar with Leuer’s work. The 6’10 Wisconsin native had a successful career in Madison and his size and offensive skill can contribute at the NBA level.

YEEEEEESSSSSSSS
Perfect – we needed another PF desperately.
Glad we were able to lure him in.
Popular lore has it that he once made 75 three-point shots in a row at a shoot around in Madison.
Aren’t these comments alluring?

So now at PF we have – Tristan Thompson, Luke Harangody, Samardo Samuels, Kevin Jones, and Jon Leuer. And people still like to pretend that Andy Varejao is a PF in the NBA, so we’ve got 6 power forwards on our team. Neat! Does this mean the trade for Bynum is imminent and includes one or two of these PFs? Let’s all just assume so.
Yes yes yes YEEEEESSSS
