Trent Richardson generating rookie fantasy excitement
June 1, 2012Box Score: Indians 7, Twins 1
June 1, 2012During tonight’s Indians broadcast on STO Indians fans were treated to some time in the booth by none other than former Indians slugger, Albert Belle. As Belle was discussing his strategy when he was lucky enough to come up with the bases loaded, Jason Kipnis bombed a grand slam to right center, on the first pitch, to give the Indians a 7-0 lead over Carl Pavano and the Minnesota Twins.
Ironically enough, Albert Belle was just finishing saying that “you can’t try to do too much.” Just worry about scoring the guy from third. Even trade an out (there was only one down) if that’s what it takes to get the run home.
No need to worry about playing it conservatively for Jason Kipnis, I guess.

I really enjoyed hearing from Belle. Being as enigmatic as he is, I’m very glad he decided to make an appearance. I’ve hardly ever heard him speak before.
Great to see Carl Winslow stop by Progressive Field.
Dang. Belle could make a great 3rd man in the booth IMO. Belle, my favorite CLE athlete of my lifetime.
Albert belle was the man and I am glad to be able to see him again . The most feared Cleveland Indian hitter ever
What about my favorite Carlos Baerga I mean they’ll be giving away his bobblehead tomorrow? Was great to see the former Indians especially Carlos who was so excited about the current Indians. Personally I don’t see what he does but man, I’d drink his Kool-Aid!
