The Terrelle Pryor era in Ohio State: Was it all worth it?
May 14, 2012Browns Roster News: Armond Smith Cut, Toledo RB Adonis Thomas Signed
May 14, 2012We casually invite the loyal readers of WFNY to join us along with the Cleveland Indians and The Cleveland Foodbank in a joint effort to help fight hunger in this lovely city we call home.
The Cleveland Foodbank, as you all may know, supplies a majority of the food used in local hot meal sites, shelters, and food pantries. In addition, they provide food to child care centers, group homes, and programs for the elderly. But every civic endeavor needs help, and we’re hoping that you all can give at least some consideration to their efforts.
Joining the Cleveland Indians this season as one of their “Fill the House for Charity” organizations, The Cleveland Foodbank will be recipients of $5 of every ticket sold in advance for the May 29th tilt between the Tribe and the Royals. Extrapolate and the Foodbank is able to provide 20 meals for every ticket sold in advance of the game.
As a means to help spread the word and get readers of WFNY involved with The Cleveland Foodbank, we are giving away a Family Four-pack of tickets to that very game. All you have to do is comment below, with a legitimate email address attached and you will be entered into the random drawing to be held on May 22nd. The content of said comment, to tie all of this together, is the answer to this question: What is your favorite stadium/arena food?
While we encourage participation in our contest, the real goal is to help The Cleveland Foodbank fill Progressive Field to collectively watch your first-place Cleveland Indians take on a division rival. We know that times are tough, but just think of how much more difficult it is for those who will benefit greatly from your ticket purchase.
In what will hopefully aid in participation, WFNY will be donating $1 for every contest entry/comment made below*. We thank you all in advance.

Always a hot dog, without a doubt.
Hotdog … is there anything else that is so traditional?
Give the foodbank another Buck!
And the food, is Nacho’s!
What is your favorite stadium/arena food?
At Progressive Field I love the pulled pork nachos. But my favorite food I have ever eaten at a park was the fried cheese curd at Miller Park, just delicious and very Milwaukee.
Btw I dont have a family of four so while I wanted to comment to help raise money for the charity I don’t need to be in the contest for the tickets.
We should have made the contest a Mangini debate to drive comments…
In the regular seats, definitely the Hot Dog with ketchup (Ketchup is obviously also my favorite to win the hot dog derby at every game!). If I’m in the all you can eat seats, their turkey breast, hands down, is the best!
Absolutely the bratwurst… nicely done, Germans.
Haven’t tried it yet myself, but my brother got a Cleveland Po Boy at a Tribe game last month and it looked amazing… really made me re-think my purchase of a plain hot dog.
Nachos.. Absolutely nachos.
the only thing I ever eat is a dog slathered in Bertmans.
And I feel badly for those who like “Stadium Mustard”. They don’t know what they are missing. Give me Bertman’s or give me death.
”
For some reason, the dogs always just taste juicier and better at the game”
Amen.
I’m with Max (see above).
Bertman’s. On a hotdog, covering fried crickets, slathering a dirt clod. I don’t care. Just give me Bertman’s or give me death.
They both have their place.
Bertman’s is great for a hot dog.
Stadium Mustard is great when combined with saurkraut (on a sausage, brat, etc.)
The great question is which do you dip your pretzel in?
NACHOS
at Astros games they have tickets that include a hot dog, chips, and a coke for $10 upper deck or $20 lower deck. buy a beer and peanuts and that’s a perfect day at the ballpark (and yes, they do serve stadium mustard at MinuteMaid Park)
Hear, hear!
Sausage and Peppers
A hot dog and cold drink.
Hot dog with ball park mustard!
Jumbo All Beef Hebrew National Dog with Bertman’s (and a beer) – nothing better on a warm and sunny summer afternoon in downtown CLE.
Footlong Hot Dog. Yum!!
Kelly Holcomb or Derek Anderson. Which former Browns starting QB was a bigger mirage and why?
A hotdog with grilled onions.
What can be better than a hot dog with Stadium mustard?
Stadium mustard – the hot dog that it goes on is OK also.
Simple: peanuts.
Nachos!
Waffles stuffed with chicken?
I can’t believe no one has mentioned this…
Hot Dog.
Nachos & cheese with LOTS of jalapeños!
Hot do with the classic stadium mustard
I love the onion stand at Progressive Field with the various types of onions and onion spreads.
I don’t really watch baseball anymore, but is there anything better than a hot dog at a ballpark on a breezy June day?
Dog & Bertman’s!!! Of course…gr8 idea here guyz!
Definitely a hot dog
Hot Dog w/ onion and stadium mustard, at Indians game
