November 26, 2011While We’re Waiting…Lakers Want Baron Davis? Joe Haden Endorses Urban Meyer, Browns vs. Bengals
November 27, 2011While it may seem like less is on the line in 2011 and neither team may have a shot to advance to the inaugural Big Ten championship, it’s still the best rivalry in college sports. Coming off a home loss to Penn State, the Buckeyes travel north to face a 9-2 Michigan team. The Wolverines enter the week coming off perhaps their best game of the season, a dominating win over Nebraska. Yesterday, Andrew detailed the opportunity Boom Herron has to cement his legacy in game that has recently seen such legend-enhancing performances from Buckeyes running backs. This is a week that has already seen the Buckeyes land the top recruit in the state, here’s hoping OSU finishes it with a win on the field. Kick off is set for the traditional noon start time, and the game will be broadcast on ABC. Leave your comments here as you spend your Saturday afternoon watching the big game.

It’s Urban Meyer time!!!!
Great game. Finally the rivalry is back.
Go Blue!
Spiking the ball on 3rd down was stupid. Also, didn’t Heacock watch any film of Denard? The middle was left open all day.
Great to see Michigan get the win. Fun game to watch.
HAIL
Is really happy for U of M…it must be nice to finally lock up an “outside-looking-in” shot at an “at large” BCS bowl bid for your kids.
Oh and it only took us losing our head coach, 5 starters on offense, 4 players on defense with a true freshman QB playing in your stadium for you to be able to compete and take us down to the wire.
Enjoy the win, it’s your last for the next 15 years.
Hey Christopher- you sound like a real pour sport. Waaaah waaaah.
It’s always fun watching buckeye fans walking around AA before a game. They look confused that ppl aren’t dumping beer on their heads and screaming bloody murder in their faces. It’s called class. Go Blue.
Wow @ Christopher. I’m not gonna go that far but I’m also not going to blow smoke on Michigan winning.
Outstanding game! Props to both teams.
I just wandered over to the Ann Arbor newspaper website to see what they’re saying:

The headlines are pretty amusing. They must have the sports-clueless girl with the marketing major internship writing their headlines:
“Fans celebrate as Michigan football team holds off Ohio State, 40-34.”
“Five arrested at Michigan football game against Ohio State.”
Hey Christopher, I guess you guys weren’t happy about beating Michigan the last 3 years because of Rich Rod right?
Michigan thread jack.
Braxton’s going to be having nightmares about that last missed throw to Posey. Ugh. So close.
I hate losing to Michigan, but it was a great game between two rivals, which is something that has been lacking recently. Hope this kick starts another “ten year war” between Hoke and Meyer.
GO BUCKS!!!
I know it was probably out of his reach, but Posey could have at least dove for that last throw down the sideline.
Look if you can smack talk for “the game” then when can you.
But honestly, Michigan Sucks. 🙂

*can’t smack talk
@Cbus, I agree. Reach it or not, he should have dove for that one.
