Kyrie Irving Scores 21 Points In Chris Paul Charity Game
October 2, 2011Browns Embarrassed by Titans Heading Into Bye Week
October 2, 2011The Cleveland Browns are 2-1 for the first time since 2002, the only year they went to the playoffs since returning under new ownership in 1999. They have a chance to move to 3-1 today against a visiting Titans team that comes in with an equal mark of 2 games up and 1 down through three, and hopefully they do. The last time the Browns were 4-1 was back in 1994, 17 years ago, but I’m getting way ahead of myself on that. First for the task at hand.
Most bookmakers have today’s game as Even or the Browns favored by one point, but a lot has to do with Titans back Chris Johnson. Will he keep frustrating fantasy football owners and his Titans team with his continued inability to get going, or is today the day he breaks out? Hopefully it’s the former obviously. It’s pretty windy out there today too, and while I’m not sure who that favors, it will be tough to catch back up through the air for either team if they get down by a couple scores early.
For more on today’s game, the links from Friday’s The Browns Will Win If are both here and here. Let’s get it Brownies.

@ Buckeye- I saw the safeties back a few times. I don think thats the issue at all. MoMass, Cribbs and to a lesser extent Little have shown the ability to go deep. I can counter that until we have a QB that can complete a deep pass they wont be goin back at all. Where are the deep throws we saw in early games or in preseason? Sure he completed 40 passes… but it was underneath every time.
This is frustrating to watch. Not sure if it’s the system or the lack of talent but just once in my life I would love to see a good offense. And someone in the organization better explain why Hillis barely played.
