On Second Thought, I Love the Kosuke Fukudome Trade
July 29, 2011U.S. Soccer News: Men’s Team Hires Jürgen Klinsmann
July 29, 2011With the sporting news world pulling a complete 180 in terms of items to actually discuss, we felt it would be an opportune time to sit down with our always hospitable friends over at Cleveland.com to have a bit of a fireside chat.
Dan Labbe hosts DP and I as we talk about the recent acquisition of Kosuke Fukudome and what it means for the near future of the Indians. Should they look to add anyone else? If so, who (hint: this guy)? And will it even make a difference given how inept the offense has been over the last month or so?
We then turn to the start of NFL free agency to talk about the loss of Eric Wright, the addition of Usama Young and what the Browns should consider doing with their massive amount of cap space. Also, with training camp starting this weekend, just what will we be watching for?
Also, I try to pronounce Jared Goedert and Nnamdi Asomugha in completely different context within about a three-minute span. That was fun.
Per usual, you can download the mp3 here, catch the audio over at Cleveland.com, or just click that ever popular ee cummings-inspired “continue reading” graphic below. Do enjoy.
