Indians to Honor Bob Feller Through Entire 2011 Season
March 24, 2011While We’re Waiting… More Draft Questions, Sheldon Brown and Jon Diebler
March 25, 2011That’s right kids, your old pals at WFNY will be making their triumphant return to television tonight. In the first of our upcoming monthly appearances, More Sports and Les Levine will have a WFNY roundtable with three of our writers.
Tonight at 6 PM on Time Warner Cable channel 23 (NEON) in Northeast Ohio, yours truly, Scott, and Craig will join Les to discuss the Tressel situation, The Cavs, The Tribe third base issues, the Browns draft prospects; essentially all things Cleveland sports. There will be a replay at 11 in case you missed it (or just want to peep Scott’s shadow beard twice in one evening).
Les will also be taking calls at 216-575-0403 if you have anything you want to discuss with us. So if you want to see our ugly mugs talk sports for an hour with the real king of Cleveland sports talk, come and join us.

any chance this video could be streamed for people without access to local Ohio TV stations?
“The real king of cleveland sports talk” In my opinion that mans name is Bruce Drennan. What do you all think WFNY staff and readers?
Side note…I haven’t seen his show in years cause I don’t have TWC…is that his self proclaimed title?
Les is self-proclaimed “Voice of Truth and Reason.”. I watch Drennam as well but not as much cuz when he goes off he’s obnoxious.
I watch Les’s show pretty much everyday either DVR’d or live at 6PM. It remains an awesome show as it has been over all these years. The show is the MAIN reason we still have Time Warner cable at our house. Back in the day, with Les and the boys on WHK 1420AM, “The Big One, the Large One, the Giant” was awesome radio! WKNR was so outdone back then it was scary.
Unfortunately, WKNR is and has been sliding into lameness currently. Aaron Goldhammer’s non-stop OSU bashing (and they are the flagship in Cleveland!), constantly hanging up on callers, rambling about his beloved Denver, etc. is getting REALLY old. Funny thing is if one tries to complain with valid points, you are hung up on, e-mail is not answered or you are dismissed as jealous!? Jealous of what? We just want to hear better local sportstalk guys!!!!! How about the “Kenny” and “Reg” back and forth between those guys in Afternoon Drive? I swear they say each other’s names about 50 times an hour. Bacon Brinda – talk about a whiny, washed up has been. Oh well, someday some of the other talent there will get the chance to step up.
All that being said…I actually missed the show yesterday and my favorite local website’s guys were on as I just read here…d’oh!!! I picked the wrong day to be out of town, forget to set my DVR and was crazy busy last night. Keep up the good work guys…and thanks for a great site. No, really…
You guys did a nice job last night.
Les’ show is excellent. (Today? Every day.)
I still don’t consider WKNR the flagship station. Sorry but glorified interns aren’t the voice of sports here. WTAM still is even though they may not talk sports as much. The guys did a great job on Les too.
Well put JM!
