November 8, 2010While We’re Waiting…Thunder Hillis and Winning Streaks (Browns and Cavs!)
November 9, 2010It is after hours here at WFNY, but I thought you might all enjoy watching Josh Cribbs’ block that helped Colt McCoy get that first ever NFL rushing TD. Go ahead. Watch it once or one thousand times.

That run and that block were both SICK.
I thought McCoy was in trouble until Cribbs flew out of nowhere and pancaked that dude.
Who was that poor sap anyway? I feel like we should send him flowers and a card.
I think that was 31, so that’s Brandon Merriweather, which makes it even more awesome.
I like that the kid made the decision to run, and was decisive about it.
He tucked the ball in and went. Shows alot of smarts and poise.
that cribbs block is priceless
Ouchtown…population: you, bro!
@chris that block from Cribbs was on Brandon Meriweather…
aka Mr. ghetto stomp (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQQi6-4Dnxk)
aka Mr. Dirtiest of hits (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2iGzAJIHX8)
which makes that block so much better.
I’ll remember this play for a long time. I’ll remember screaming at the TV, “SLIDE!!! SLIIIIDE!!!” And, then my crazy happiness when I saw what HE saw.
That could very well be a play we look back at as a turning point for this team.
I believe it was Brandon Merriweather
what I like about it was that it prevented a typical browns red zone sputtering.
nice long drive in the 3rd and then we get a stupid penalty in the red zone.. could have easily been settling for a FG there but so glad we didn’t
Smart play by Colt – the defense is so busy trying to get behind him they leave about 7-8 yards clear in front of him, which makes rushing it himself the obvious choice.
Smart play by Cribbs, too – with that block, he gets his QB a first down, whether or not he scores.
Robbie, my seats are down in that end zone, and I was exactly the same way… I was yelling “slide slide SLIDE SLIDE SLIDE SL–DIVE DIVE DIVE DIVE!!”
