Because LeBron made the Cavaliers so good so fast, they only had a few chances to make the move or draft pick that would have given him a true running mate or set of running mates. Due to a series of circumstances both within and beyond management’s control, the moves they made didn’t work out. Without further ado, the tale of Luke Jackson, the Cavs’ only lottery pick in the LeBron era.” [Cavs the Blog]

Here’s some help: Chris Johnson. “Shin-Soo Choo drew the No. 1 pick in the Indians’ upcoming fantasy football draft. You might be shocked to learn that Choo knows absolutely nothing about football. So guess who will be handling his drafting duties? Yep, that’s right, it’s everybody’s favorite CastroTurf character, Jason Stein, known here and everywhere as the “Master of Self-Promotion.”
Choo hopes Stein is the “Master of Fantasy Football,” but word is Stein overvalues members of the Dallas Cowboys. Here’s hoping Choo and Stein do well. And here’s hoping Jake Delhomme falls to me at No. 6 overall in the upcoming Euclid Fantasy Football League Draft. I like my chances.” [CastroTurf]

Upgrades breeding optimism: “I didn’t even realize how awful the past two years have been throwing the ball. Both seasons, the Browns were the only NFL team completing under 50 percent. You have to go back to 1974 for the most recent Browns team to complete less than 50 percent. Last year, they were dead last in passing yards — 304 fewer than anyone else. They had only 11 TD passes in each of the past two seasons. Simply stepping up to mediocre will change the game for the Browns.” [Terry Pluto]

Oh man, that picture at the top of Krolik’s article had me cracking up.
I said it at 11W, and I’ll say it here: man, oh man, do I miss Adriatico’s.
@EZ
“You mah bitch!”
This is the first time I’ve looked at the Dawgs by Nature site. Rufio’s breakdown of that Rams TD is excellent.
@Denny, ha I live a mile away and I get it once a week.
That 11W article basically lists every bar/restaurant near downtown Columbus. The actual advice jems are lost amongst almost too much information.
That being said, when/where is the WFNY tailgate?
I disagree with about 91.54% of the 11W article.
“That being said, when/where is the WFNY tailgate?”
Given the various locations of the staff, tailgates are not easy to put together. We’ve definitely considered such – perhaps some day, it’ll come to fruition.
That was a very well done article by Dawgs by Nature. What I find most puzzling about the defense is why Ryan has Roth and Gocong (from the pictures, im sure theres another LB) lined up on the line. They need to become more ambiguous to hide blitzes and coverages. If one of those LBs drop back it takes away the huge mismatch of BMac on a TE.
so much fist shaking is happening at swig right now.
I’ll be at the 11W tailgate before the OSU/Miami game, so that’s a thing that can happen.
