This made me remember the day I was driving to work listening to WKNR and the news broke that Bernie Kosar had been released. Wow. The venom spewed that day was amazing! “The station was also fortunate to preside over one of the most controversial, yet exciting times in Cleveland sports. Local sports icon Bernie Kosar was experiencing his “diminishing skills,” and eventually lost his job to Vinnie Testaverde. Bill Belichick was stonewalling the media and the fans at every turn, just before Art Modell decided to move the team. The Indians were just hitting their stride as one of the elite teams in all of baseball.” Cursed Cleveland

Ball Don’t Lie invited Fear the Sword to make the Cavaliers’ pick in their mock draft. The result was SF Austin Daye. “There are plenty of positives with Daye – length, athleticism, solid shooter and scorer – enough for the Cavaliers to jump at someone with Daye’s ability should he fall all the way to 30.” Ball Don’t Lie

Interesting find from the Buckeye Battle Cry on the difference between a Big Ten and an SEC education. “This morning, the United States Chamber of Commerce released their findings on the effectiveness of education in each of our glorious states. They graded each state on several topics related to the respective states’ educational system. Buckeye fans, show some pride….our state got a ‘B’. ” Buckeye Battle Cry

Did Chris Kaman leak something on Twitter? “Last night Rich Bucher reported, via the awesomeness that Twitter has become (can’t figure out if I believe that statement or not), that the Los Angeles Clippers thought they had a deal done for center Chris Kaman 48 hours ago. And the team that it was with was? If you guessed the Cavs, you’re right.” Cavalier Attitude

the buckeyes link is just false, you really think vanderbilt deserves a “D” for education? and that its a better school the Minn?
…
*worse school
Let’s hope the RB’s don’t go through what the QB’s did last year.
@1 – I believe that the education link is refering to education as a whole (including primary and secondary education, most likely public schools) and not just colleges and universities.
I was just thinkfing, can you imagine the Cavs pre game ‘skits’ with LBJ and Shaq as the dueling choreographers? I think we will be in for a treat.
I’d laugh at the south, but I kind of just feel bad. Lots of poor people, lots of uneducated people. Then a gain, they got that thurr Tee-Bow feller.
