Aeros 1B Beau Mills Heating Up
June 4, 2009While We’re Waiting… LeBron Fined, The NFLPA on Mangini, and Charlie Villanueva Rumors
June 5, 2009Perhaps what the Tribe needs to take two of three from the Twinkies is the positive mojo that only a WFNY open thread can produce! Though, at the time of this publication, the Wahoos already find themselves down 7-0 after two measly innings. Thanks, Fausto!

What is Charles Nagy doing these days? He has to be better than Fausto.
Rick Manning advocating for sending Carmona down this week with Hafner coming up. What word would you use to describe our starting pitching staff? It’s most certainly not “rotation.”
Shouldn’t they fire the pitching coaches simply because of how bad Carmona has gotten? I’ve watched him this year and when he’s good, he’s nasty. But they can’t get in his head and fix him. And since the team is spending a hell of a lot more cash on him, why don’t we get someone who can? I don’t want to see him pull a Brandon Phillips, but soon they’ll have to trade him for 25 cents on the dollar if they don’t straighten this out.
Manning and Hamilton are both creeping closer and closer to being Harry Doyle
Tomo Ohka’s picture on MLB.com gamecast looks like a guy thinking to himself, “This is my career. I’m mopping up down 7 runs for a team that is the second or third worst team is baseball. Kill me.”
@#4: Well, in fairness, all the Tribe has right now is on g-d hit.
Wow Carmona is horrible. What do we do? He has to get sent down doesn’t he? I don’t see how they can keep sending him out there to get shelled. And yeah, we should fire the pitching coaches. Not only that, I would probably get rid of the trainers. How can we have so many injuries? This is crazy. Between the Tribe and the Browns we have the worst medical staff, no one can stay healthy.
I refer back to my ‘Operation’ theory on Cleveland Professional Sports Medical Staffs
well at least we have the Cavs to watch…oh wait…scratch that.
Can’t listen to the game from where I am, but looking at that Tribe lineup card I’m glad I can’t. Maybe one day it will be remembered as the “Lineup from Hell.” Extremely heavy on the “maybe some days” and the “never will bes.” Guys playing out of position, DeRosa is your DH …Just fugly.
“The Indians got one run on, lets see here, one hit. One hit? We got on g-d hit?”
“You can’t say g-d on air”
“Ah who cares no one is listening anyway”
Hammy just got way too excited about Morneau’s homer. Then again, it’s the first big hit he’s seen in a while.
Why isn’t Garko playing more? He’s not Mark Texiera, but he’s better than Gimenez and Shoppach.
Wow this team sucks. Really they are getting close to being as bad as the team from Major League.
At least the A’s might be worse.
I’d definitely take Eddie Harris on the mound and Cerrano at clean-up over the guys we rolled out there this afternoon.
They have to send Carmona down. Getting him right for the long term is far more important that caring about who would have to replace him in the rotation now and the effectiveness of that person – likely, oh jesus, Ohka.
Here we go Brownies, here we go… WOOF WOOF!
(Sorry, I think it’s all we’ve got now.)
How about moving him to the pen for a bit? Maybe that can straighten him out…or maybe 2007 was simply a fluke? He has not been the same since Boston “figured him out” in the ALCS.
If that’s the case, it’s a very sad day Ezzie.
It’s all you’ve got now. I’ve got the Bucks. The Clowns may actually be better than last year, but that isn’t saying much.
Way to back on the horse WFNY!
