Browns Suspend Kellen Winslow
October 21, 2008Winslow Almost Got His Wish
October 22, 2008It’s election season, and more important than the Presidential Election this year is LABallTalk’s Top Team Blog Contest. We’re supposed to use this space to tell you why we think you should vote for us. Well, self promotion isn’t really my thing. I mean, we do this for free. We do this because we have a passion for Cleveland sports and because we want to provide a different point of view that you might not get from just reading mainstream media outlets. Don’t get me wrong, we’d be humbled if you felt so inclined to go over there and give us your vote and show us your support, but if you want to vote for And One or Cavalier Attitude, we won’t blame you. The one thing I’ll say is that we’re lucky. The Cavaliers have the best group of bloggers covering any NBA teams. I feel very strongly about that, and I feel honored just to have this site mentioned with And One and Cavalier Attitude.

You’ve got my vote. I love this site. Excellent.
… But you will blame me for voting for Mistake Sporting Times? C’mon now! They’re funny dudes.
That said, y’all should win this one on the strength of your in-depth coverage (and with such regularity!).
If we’re talking strictly Cavs coverage here, I’d say Amar at Cavalier Attitude is one of the best NBA bloggers. Let’s not forget Bob and the Cavsboard! (If he starts to write again!)
Fortunately, we have Rock…who can hold his own with any NBA blogger in basketball analysis and quality of writing.
Well, in all honesty, I wouldn’t blame anyone for voting for any site. There are tons of good blogs out there and they all have their own unique flavor. I just meant that And One and Cavalier Attitude are, personally, my 2 favorite Cavaliers blogs. Cavaliers Corner with Dan Labbe is up there, too, he just isn’t included in the poll for some reason.
As for Bob, the last time I talked to him, he said he was probably done with the site. He has too many time constraints right now, and he’s focusing his creative energy more on web development rather than writing. It’s too bad, because you’re right, Rick, his stuff was quality.
You got my vote for one reason–live feed during games. That’s the best.
You got my vote. I can’t even remember how I found this site a few months ago, but you guys got me hooked. Keep up the great work!
