Survivor: WFNY Island Update
October 18, 2008In Case You’re Interested…
October 18, 2008Time: 3:30 PM, EDT
TV/Radio: WEWS Ch. 5, WKNR AM/850.
Kickoff Weather: 55 degrees (at kickoff), Winds 4 MPH (SE)
Line: OSU (-4)
The defensive line was abused by Wisconsin. The defense in general held their own against Purdue. But neither team we have played in the last two weeks have Javon Ringer in their backfield. I know that statistics only tell part of the game, but when a guy has over 1,000 yards and double-digit touchdowns at this point in the season, it cannot be ignored. The trick will be which defensive line shows up? The one that let the Badgers march down the field at ease in the fourth quarter, or the one that bottles up the run game and forces errant passes? The Spartans Brian Hoyer hasn’t thrown that many more passes than Terrell Pryor, so obviously the ladder would be more beneficial for the Scarlet and Gray.

As pointed out by the guys at Eleven Warriors, Michigan state is billing this one as their biggest football game in the last 10 years – which says quite a bit. I really hope that we are not caught looking ahead in this one, as the guys on the banks of the Red Cedar are a lot tougher than many realize. Here’s to a more aggressive offense, whether it includes Todd Boeckman or not. And, of course, here’s to A.J. Trapasso! Go Bucks!

Here we go….
I’m up here in MI, and Sparty fans are coming out of the woodwork and talking smack today at work. Where have these people been the last five years? IT’S ON NOW BABY!!!!!!!
You should just stiff arm them like Pryor just did in the open field.
7-0 OSU
We’re looking pretty good right now. I’m thinking as soon as the younger linemen are healthy, Rehring needs to go. Pretty much useless all year.
I think it’s about time Small stops seeing the field on punt returns. Doesn’t know when to fair catch, has problems holding onto the ball. He is explosive, but give Thomas a chance, he’s supposed to be just as good. Blood pressure rises everytime he gets the ball (or drops 1 too)
These announcers are especially annoying to me today. Did anyone else here when they said “true freshman snapping to a true freshman, could there be anything worse?”
Yeah, I can actually, when the snapper is Brewster and the QB is Pryor…
Exactly. I’ll take Brewster to Pryor over Cordle to Boeckman, thank you very much.
We beat the brakes off them Lmao. We didn’t come out conservative and they couldn’t defend it. Good job
agree on the announcers. i hate watching anygame those tards do. McGuire is especially annoying
the announcers really were awful at the start… but that’s to be expected from that particular crew.
good win going into the Penn State game… which will be tough, but I think we can pull it out by a couple TDs if things go right.
anybody else trying to watch the baseball game and getting STeve Harvey show instead? TBS is putting their baseball contract on the line by messing this up
Yea its technical difficulties. Upton hit a homer tho so tampa winning
lolz @ michigan state
