October 24, 2008Lebron, Cavs Romp in Columbus
October 25, 2008A few quick programming notes before the links:
– We want to mention that a few of the WFNY staff will be hanging out at the BWs on Lane/High before tonight’s Cavaliers game in Columbus. Even if you’re not going to the game, stop up any time between 5:30 and the tip to unwind a bit.
– Also worth mentioning is that Rick will be representing WFNY in the Chick-Fil-A Mascot Movers tent during tomorrow’s College Gameday. I’m not sure if I want Lee Corso to put on the Brutus head or not…Perhaps Rick can arrange something?
– And thirdly, if you haven’t already, head over to LABallTalk to vote for WFNY’s representation of the Cavs. Thank you all for the continued support.
Alright…Enough about us. On to the good stuff!
– The abovementioned Cavaliers are less than a week away from tipping things off for the 2008-09 season. Special props go to Dan Labbe over at the Cavaliers Corner for his most excellent take on the franchise from the top down. If you head anywhere after reading this post, make sure it’s Dan’s way.
– TD had the chance to interview the great Michael Reghi. Parts one and two can be found here and here. Great read, even if he does like Romeo..
– Though not Cleveland related, I can’t imagine why every Chicago Bears fan wouldn’t have one of these Sweetness t-shirts. A great find by Vince Grzegorek.
– The team over at Hardwood Paroxysm rocks a great preview for us Cavs fans. Though they do not think Mo Williams is the answer, I love the key lime pie analogy.
– And if you haven’t heard enough about the staph infection this week, Whatzgonnahappen personifies the pesky little guy to make his week eight predictions.

I’m heading out to Gameday tomorrow and will try to remember to stop by the tent. Go Bucks 🙂
