The Browns Will Win If…
September 26, 2008Ohio QB’s- The Anti-Vicks?
September 26, 2008Today, Carson Palmer was added to the injury report as “questionable” for Sunday’s game.
Said coach Marvin Lewis: “Carson has developed some carryover soreness from last week’s game. He has told us he’s going to be ready to play, but he is missing some practice reps today, so he has to be listed on the injury report.”
Although Lewis is trying not to make a big deal out of it, what we now know is that Palmer has some soreness in his throwing elbow. What this means for Browns fans is that even if Carson Palmer plays this weekend, we probably won’t see him at 100%. How much of an advantage this is to the Browns is anyone’s guess.
Quick Trivia question. Can anyone name Carson Palmer’s backup? If you said Ryan Fitzpatrick then you are the big winner. I had no idea who the backup QB was. Now after finding out it is Ryan Fitzpatrick…I still have no idea who he is.
After looking it up, Ryan Fitzpatrick is a 25 year-old 4th year player out of Harvard. While you don’t wish injury on anyone, Ryan would be a welcome sight on the field for the Browns defense at any point in the game on Sunday.
Let’s hope the Browns defense can actually put some pressure on whichever QB shows up to play for the Bengals on Sunday.

Wow. what an ad. is that real?
real as ever, my friend
Careful what you wish for. I’d rather get burned by Mr. Palmer then have us make a nobody 2nd stringer look like a hero by torching us for several touchdowns. Though, I think that would be followed before lunchtime on Monday with Romeo’s unemployment.
Ok, a little off subject. Will the 2 people who voted RAC as the best coach in Cleveland please post something explaining the thought process?
Thanks

Of course I dont wish injury on anyone, but I would love to see our defensive line make Carson do the Tony Romo Grimace face.
@ Rick – I can’t believe i possibly missed that.
/hangs head in shame.
Fitzpatrick actually has had some success in this league. I remember he started a game for Marc Bulger due to an injury once a couple years back, and he threw for over 300 yards. It was a big deal b/c he was from Harvard or something. I do not know why I remember that
