Handing Out The Grades- Browns vs Bears
August 29, 2008WFNY Set To WIN
August 29, 2008If you are looking for a great preview, the Dispatch has really stepped up the internet coverage. It is well worth the look. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the attention that Pryor is getting from OSU sites. I almost expect it from outside Columbus, but around here we should know that Pryor will be brought along somewhat slowly. Not to mention that these seniors deserve to be talked about. Pryor has his whole career ahead of him. These guys have given us their best for 3 years already, and many could have made the jump to Sundays. Give them the cover story.
Check out the game preview from Jason at Eleven Warriors, who predicts a 42-3 Buckeye win. Yes, that Jason.
Men of the Scarlet and Gray give us a photo of the least intimidating mascots in college football. Seriously, are those old Sea World costumes?
Jeff from Buckeye Battle Cry gives us 8 things to look for, including a Joe Bauserman TD pass.
The Dayton Daily News leaks details about the team’s new entrance, which is supposed to include the band. Really, why do we mess with what works?

Theres no way that the final score is 42-3. Not that tOSU cant do it, but Tressel is just not that kind of guy. I think he would play the third stringers before the game was that much of a blowout.
FINALLY, football is back…
I want to second what Rick said…..the new GameDay+ feature of the Dispatch’s website is truly something they should be really proud of. They did a great job with it.
I love how Ohio State — a team both two hours from Cleveland and who have won a national title in this millennium — end up on a blog about rooting for the unlucky teams by the lake more than the Indians.
Just a reminder from Terrapin land…. Fear the Penguin.
Also is Louis Irrizary still on YSU or did he “graduate”? I was in the dorm next to his when he allegedly beat up his girlfriend and got kicked out in school.
SambofromOH, shoot me an email and I’ll get you the 900 number for our score service. 😉
Thomas no way have the Buckeyes gotten more coverage than the Indians over the life of this site. Second, this site is a Cleveland sports site, and if you don’t know, the Buckeyes are as much a tradition in Cleveland as the Browns.
For the record, I would eat my hat right now if I were wearing one. I certainly underestimated the ability of the Buckeyes backups and the ineptitude of YSU.
