You Are The GM…..For Franklin Gutierrez
July 11, 2008If the Gladiators Pull This Off…
July 11, 2008Perhaps this is just an excuse to post a picture of Paula Creamer, but borrowing a phrase from the great works of Hardwood Paroxysm never hurts either. Couple all of this with the fact that it went down just west of Cleveland, and I think it is a great fit for WFNY.
Reportedly, Creamer shot a course record 60 (11 under par) at the Highland Meadows golf course during Thursday’s opening round of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic. The 21-year old shot her best round as a professional, eclipsing her previous mark by four strokes.
I am not about to try and sound like an LPGA expert by any means, but as a hack golfer myself, I know how great a 60 truly is. A few weeks ago at Hinckley Hills, I shot my best round of the summer thus far; a 44 through nine holes.
With a cart.
And it was a two-man scramble. Just semantics, if you ask me.

Wow very impressive.
Just yesterday, I shot a 53 on the back 9 at Astrohurst in Walton Hills. BTW, I just happened to be the group playing infront of The Plain Dealer’s, Chuck Yarborough, which I thought was pretty cool.
Anyways, shooting a 60 is practically unimaginable! Creamer is quite a talent.
