Good Showing Grady
July 14, 2008Not Your Father’s Browns…But Closer Than You Think?
July 15, 2008Fausto Carmona appeared to be pain free following his 4 innings of work at Lake County on Monday. Carmona allowed only one hit, not that you would expect single A players to do much against Fausto. What is slightly disturbing is that Fausto has to hit while at Lake County. At least he has to stand in the batter’s box. Perhaps he should make these starts for Akron. There is no reason to subject Fausto to further injury by making him hit. Misunderstanding cleared up by a reader, thanks!
Speaking of the Aeros, they were winners at Reading last night 5-3. Scott’s favorite player, you know this guy, is doing quite well there playing right field. In fact the long-monikered one is batting .302 in 66 minor league games this season. Perhaps we will get a chance to cheer for the Hawaiian warrior sometime in Cleveland…

I don’t know where you got the information, but pitchers do NOT bat at Lake County. In fact, the only place in all of professional baseball that pitchers bat is at the Major League level in the NL.
Anyway, I saw Carmona pitch last night and he looked really good.
Good to hear Carmona is on the up again. one thing with this post, when I click on the link with the text “this guy” i get taken to a login page that wasks me to sign in…is this supposed to happen?
nope, sorry. It is fixed now.
@Captains fan- That’s good to hear, the boxscore made it look like the pitchers hit in that league. I was surprised that was the case. Thanks for clearing it up!
