Fierce Urgency of Now
May 12, 2008Why Tonight Matters
May 12, 2008Even though the Washington Wizards have long packed their bags to watch the Eastern Conference semi’s from home, their fans seemingly can’t get enough time in the limelight.
Off and running with the oh-so hilarious “Crybaby” reference, Wizards fans have apparently swapped t-shirt creations for post-season basketball on the revenue-generation scale.
Check out what they’ve been able to do in their downtime…

I have never seen a bigger group of whiners in my life. They really need to focus on the fact that their just isn’t good enough
There I go leaving out words again. That should have read “They really need to focus on the fact that their TEAM just isn’t good enough”
Who can blame them? They must be bored out of their mind after losing in the first round to the Cavs yet again. Its probably the only thing keeping them from going insane and electing another crack head as mayor
Should they also try to focus on the fact that the Wizards just plain gave up in Gm 6 once they were down 10? I’ve never seen such a whiny fan reaction…all for a team that doesn’t deserve to be in the second round anyway.
isn’t it pathetic how easily the Wizards fan base is manipulated? Wait, do they even have a fan base? I’m pretty sure most of those people weren’t aware the Bullets were in the playoffs until 2 weeks ago
If you’re going to play one of the league’s big superstars, I guess you have to find ways to make fun of him. I enjoyed “Overrated” more than “Crybaby.” Despite all of LeBron’s hype, he can’t overcome the fact that either a) Mike Brown can’t coach or b) Mike Brown’s players won’t listen to him. Well he can do it, but he can’t do it every night. I guess that makes him overrated.
If I really cared about getting involved in worrying about what the Wizards’ lame fans think about LeBron, I would suggest we host a contest for WFNY readers to design the best Washington Wizards “Irrelevant” shirts.
