Indians Bats Waking Up?
May 11, 2008Fierce Urgency of Now
May 12, 2008Given the twin-bill for the Tribe as well as the Eastern Conference semis tonight, you don’t need me to tell you that there will be a few people taking on downtown Cleveland tonight.
I was a bit shocked to see my normal parking garage already charging $25 per car, at about 7:45a. The attendant told me that they ended the “early bird” rate at 7a due to all of the events tonight. Needless to say, I parked elsewhere. But when you overlap the working folk with those coming for the 4p Tribe contest, there will likely be a ration on parking come Cavs time.
So – what I’m saying is – if you can get here early, I’d highly recommend it. If you can come via RTA, it’s probably for the better – especially when it comes to the wallet.
Just giving you all a heads up, as I know a few readers will be in attendance tonight. I don’t have tickets, myself, but I’ll be doing the establishment circuit soon after work. 5p can’t come soon enough.

Game 3 parking was crazy, although there was only one indians game that day. I got into town a little before 6 and had to park all the way at 21st street, by CSU and Peabody’s. And that was an hour early!
Ricky,
That is where i had to park too. i parked right by the convocation center. 5 dollars. im used to paying 5 dollars to park in the garage on prospect and 14th.
(that garage was $15 that day)
