Tale of Two Halves
April 15, 2008Brady Quinn Slated To Start Week 14
April 16, 2008While many are likely caught up in the beginning of the NBA Playoffs, or even the final few seconds of the game against the Sixers, LeBron James continues to add to his philanthropic ways by joining female tennis star Maria Sharapova in a fight against poverty.
Sharapova, the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Program, reportedly invited James to be a part of the 50-odd athletes that will raise money for specific anti-poverty activities including (but not limited to) HIV/AIDS projects and water sanitation initiatives.
Given that there is a photo shoot with James and Sharapova, let’s just hope that it doesn’t garner the negative attention that came from the infamous Vogue cover.

I love this picture.
how does your head look when you paste it onto LeBron’s body?
After a bit of my own investigation I determined that Sharapova won the U.S. open in 2006 in New York. Another blatant attempt to lure Bron-Bron away.
sharapova is a babe.
Maria and I make a great couple. That’s all I’m saying.
I’m in awe of the size of the man’s hand in that picture…
Rick, we’re trying to keep it family friendly around here…
The only other time I have seen a hand that size was at a Eubie Blake concert.
