Barry Bonds: Incognito
April 21, 2008Round One Game Two Live Blog
April 21, 2008With Game 2 tipping off in less than eight hours, the Washington Post Wizards Insider sheds some light on what may be an interesting development: Gilbert Arenas’ injured right wrist.
When I first read the blurb, I thought that he may had done it early in the fourth quarter, which could have lent some insight into his airball runner from the block when they were down four. However, it appears that the injury may have occurred immediately following.
Turns out he sprained his right wrist in the late stages of last night’s game when he fouled Le Bron James and it must have stiffened up on him overnight.
Word out of Washington is that his early morning practice didn’t go well in terms of making shots. Not that I’m complaining much, but Gil is expected to play in today’s game and even if he’s not 100 percent, he’s a lot better than many guards in the league. Delonte will continue to have to play solid defense, as he did in the second half, and DeShawn Stevenon will have to continue…well, being DeShawn Stevenson.
