Browns sign LB
March 21, 200803/24 Morning Minute: Fausto, Take II
March 24, 2008While it is an excellent feat regardless, I’m much more satisfied that LeBron’s record-breaking evening came during a win. I mean, was there any doubt in anyone’s mind that this wouldn’t happen? While James was very humble in his post-game speech, the fact that the fans have seen him score every single point of his career thus far is amazing. Now we just have to hope that his 15,000th point is scored while in a Cavaliers jersey as well.
How about that posterizing of Jamario Moon in the first quarter?
Here’s a pretty cool .PDF file courtesy of the Plain Dealer, detailing the game-by-game steps taken to achieve this record…
Someone who won’t be scoring 10,000 points any time soon: Ben Wallace. The big man left yesterday’s game with another bout of back spasms. Ugh. At least “The Wildcard” stepped up in his place. Speaking of Smith, check out the +/- of the reserves versus the starters. Unreal.
Those of you that were disappointed by the lack of upsets during Thursday’s open to March Madness can now go back and cross off half of your bracket. Clemson? Done. Vanderbilt? Done. UConn? Done. Drake? That last-second shot was one of the better that I’ve seen live in quite a while. You have to love the handoff-three!
What’s even better is that this is only the beginning. Have more hoops today and tomorrow, carrying us through the next couple of weeks. How can you not appreciate this time of the year. I’m not even a huge college hoops fan and I can’t get enough. Perhaps that’s why. Rationing may be key…
That about does it for me. I have to go shovel some snow. Oh, and apparently the first day of Spring was this week. You wouldn’t be able to tell by looking out my window.
Have a good weekend, all.
