June 20, 2012Box Score: Indians 8, Reds 1
June 20, 2012With the Cleveland Indians officially staying ahead of the Cincinnati Reds in terms of all-time head-to-head record, we thought it would be a good time to celebrate the ongoing battle for the Ohio Cup by having a bit of a contest.
Hey, at least it’s not “The Barge.”
Today’s giveaway is brought to you by the kind folks at Team CLE Tees. This specific contest will reward one of you with the t-shirt pictured to the right, but they also have plenty of team-specific threads for the having over at their website TeamCLETees.com.
Like what you see there? Then follow them on Twitter and/or become a Fan of their swag on Facebook.
In order to walk away with today’s prize, answer the following question:
If you could have only one member of the Indians represent the team at this year’s All-Star game, who do you feel is the most deserving and why?
A winner will be chosen at random and notified via the email left in the commenting field. Good luck to all and Go Tribe!

Jason Kipnis. Is 1st or 2nd in AL in almost every meaningful offensive category.
Hard to choose, but I’d say Chris Perez. He can definitely get the job done and one of the best closers in the game. Now can I have the free swag?
Chris Perez- most vocal, and backs it up.
Before his injury, Hannahan was on line to be an all star IMO (look at the stats, he would have been at worst top 2 in 3rd basemen at the time). But being sidelined for a while really hurt him. I would go with Kipnis because i feel like he would do better. in an all star game, I refuse to belive perez would not allow at least two baserunners. as it is, i think Perez, Kipnis and Asdrubal make it.
Gotta be Kipnis. Clutch, consistent, young, dirt bag.
