Scouts Inc: Stick With Colt McCoy
October 29, 2010Cavaliers Preview Game #2: Cavs at Raptors
October 29, 2010Following what was described as an “intense game of three-on-three basketball,” two of the newest members of the Boston Celtics reportedly got into a fistfight.
Hoopsworld’s Alex Kennedy reports that following said practice, Von Wafer attempted to walk away from the apparent disagreement but former Cavalier Delonte West followed him into the locker room where he then allegedly threw punches forcing teammates to seperate the two players. Head coach Doc Rivers (along with veteran players) is reportedly very unhappy with the altercation which could lead to a potential release of West who is on a non-guaranteed contract with the Celtics.
Unfortunately, this news comes shortly after another former member of the Cavaliers, Shaquille O’Neal, stated that he would be able to keep West in control after a season of relative turmoil.
West is currently serving a suspension stemming from a weapons-based arrest in the fall of 2009.

*sighs*
This is sad. Really wanted to see Delonte succeed and turn his life around given this opportunity. Some people never learn…
I just don’t get how a guy can throw millions of dollars away like this. I hope your own sense of pride is worth it, Delonte.
Apparently this isn’t the first run-on these two have had during their time together. I read on Wojo or somebody’s Twitter that Delonte thinks that Wafer was anonymously telling people in the media that Delonte was off of his meds. I think we all know Delonte’s policy on snitching.
I’m really rooting for Delonte.
@5: was Delonte the one who shot 50 Cent in the mouth?
