Andy Comes Up Big For Cavs vs. Nets – Cavs 94 Nets 86
January 3, 2010Cavaliers vs. Bobcats Preview
January 3, 2010The Cleveland Football Browns close out the 2009 campaign today (1 PM, WTAM 1100, CBS) with a game at Cleveland Browns stadium against the visiting Jacksonville Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguars. The Browns have momentum going into this game, playing hard for embattled coach Eric Mangini. Meanwhile, the Jaguars come limping in with a slight chance to get into the playoffs with a win and some help. For keys to the game, see our BWWI post from Thursday.
As the Browns look to finish out the season, it will be interesting to see whether the Browns continue to work as hard as they have thus far. Enjoy the last game of the season folks, as we’ve got plenty of off-the-field drama and (possible) movement ahead in the coming weeks. Footbaww!

Really?
My bad guys, just wanted to put it where people could see it. Go Browns!
Denny… so disappointing. You could’ve gone much more charmingly old-school with an Atari Jaguar reference instead of going with the cult of Macintosh. Very disappointing, indeed.
Anybody have a link for an online feed?

nice Thanks!
that link is good for cavs games as well!
I’m an idiot. Why can’t I get anything from the ATDHE link? I get the Watch Live pop up, but it is just sitting there. Is there an app I have to download? Thanks!
DA with a costly interception in the red zone.
Right there with you Rico…Trying to watch the Vikings game and getting nothing.
Im really hoping Holmgren keeps Mangini around, I think he could actually be the one, but in order for the Holmgren experiment to work it needs to be his decision.
#12, Well at least it’s good to know I’m not the only one! đ
Heres a direct link to the game. Maybe this will work for you guys? I think the only thing you would need is adobe flash/ shockwave

Has anyone been watching Mack enough to grade him? I’ve been watching how well our running game has picked up the past few weeks and haven’t heard anything about him. I’m hoping he was a good pickup and is doing above average.
Mr. Cribbs….makes it all worth it.
I’ve been noticing Mack getting to the second level and doing great blocking downfield. That Cribbs TD is another example. I think he’s progressing very well, and hopefully will be another Joe Thomas on that line.
very good first half. big runs by cribbs and harrison, nice to see as always. As long as Anderson doesn’t throw the ball the rest of the game we have a chance.
Agreed. If the defense keeps playing like it has and we keep the ball on the ground and run out the clock we should be able to take this. Biggest impediment to our success will be Derek Anderson.
ATDHE.met link worked great – but now it’s gone. Anybody find the game somewhere else?
I’m watching it here: http://www.stream2watch.com/watch/4507/1/watch-online-Football-Jacksonville-Jaguars-vs-Cleveland-Browns-live-stream
Is anyone else watching the game on CBS annoyed by the Lake Effect Snow Warning that is placed conveniently on top of the score bar. I haven’t been able to tell what down it is for ten minutes!
@Gregg
I know its very irritating. Just put that junk on the bottom of the screen.
After allowing Jerome to run all day, the Chiefs have elected to fix that problem by hiring Romeo to call their D.
Beers all around boys!
I can’t wait for the Mangini haters to show up saying that this win “means nothing” either.
I cant believe I actually saw Mangini crack a smile at the end of the game. Regardless of when the wins came, 5-11 is progress. Two wins were against potential playoff teams – though losses to the Browns hurt their case.
The question will be: Did these wins (team playing hard, etc) do enough to rectify the perceived damage done through the first three months of the season?
Will be an interesting week, for sure.
I think this win locks Mangini in as coach for next year. No doubt about it in mind.
I’ve hated Mangini since training camp. But – all I care about our wins. If he is finally getting this team to win, then I want him back as coach next year.
Despite how many horrible decisions he made in the early part of the year – he now deserves it
I agree with logan. I’ve hated mangini since he came. But at this point there is no justification for firing him. 5 wins is definite progress. Especially because he had the task of getting rid of winslow and edwards among others. If we fire him, all we do is scratch this seasons progress and start again next year.
@23 and 24 For real!!!!! We get it! It’s snowing! NO need to remind us!!!! We live in NE Ohio and we understand how it works! Sheesh.
And GO BROWNS!!!!! At least we were entertained at the end of the year!!!
I’m pretty much at peace with whatever Holmgren decides to do with Mangini. It’s ironic to me, though, that the one guy who largely made this 4-game win streak possible for Mangini is Jerome Harrison, whom Mangini flat-out refused to play for almost 11 of the first 13 games.
Yes, winning the last four is nice, but when you see what Harrison was able to do and wonder, “Where was he for most of the year?” that reflects poorly on Mangini. I can’t imagine Harrison–whom we’ve seen be an impact player in years past–was “bad” in practice for most of the first 75% of the season, and then all of a sudden puts up 550 yards in three games (and, out-rushed Lewis’s entire season in those three games, I might add). I just don’t buy it.
So, Mangini might have appeared to save his job, but if I’m Holmgren that’s literally the first question (well, some form of “what was different in these last four games?”) I ask him: “Why didn’t Harrison get more than 55 carries total–more than half of which (29) came in the first Cincinnati game–the first 13 games?”
DP- right on. I dont care if Mangini stays (as long as its only to coach), but man has he mismanaged some things, Harrison being a prime example. He put up 121 against cincy, and doesnt anything until J Lew gets hurt again. Also, I would say that if Mangini stays he needs to get a new OC. Still cant stand Daboll.
Clearly this team hates Mangini. How else can you explain several of the players trying to put him into a hypothermic state late in the game?
Harrison has been mishandled since he was drafted here. I’ve been crying for year now that she NEEDED to be the starting back…But the kid didn’t have his head on strait. Saw an interview with Jime Brown a year or ago where he said Harrison has Talent beyond belief, but that he had no Study/practice habits, and needed to get his head into the game before he would ever be good…Looks like MANGINI finally got through time him with the DNP Coaches decision. a while back.
No matter what Holmgren does we all need to realize that it will take close to 4 years to get thing fully working. We need to get a solid system in place and get guys learning the system. that will take time.
I was at the game…….my toes are still re-gaining feeling….
Great game. It was nice to see everyone that trooped it out at good old C.B.S.
Harrison has a lot of trouble picking up the blitz, which I imagine is why he saw so much of the bench this year.
Once we figured out that we couldn’t throw worth a lick it made sense to play him, blitzers be damned.
John St. Clair has trouble picking up the blitz, and he’s a lineman who played in almost every game. Just sayin’.
I dont buy the picking up a blitz thing. If thats the case then have him run into the flats to at least be an option for the QB.
Now Jamal Lewis is saying that “he may want to play one more year” and that “I’ll make a decision after I become healthy again”. Please, please, please stay away from the Browns.
